Michael Lundeen, a third-generation Oregonian, found his calling to make fine wine in the Willamette Valley after returning to his family’s Yamhill County farm. From the time Michael and his father planted the first Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris vines in 2001, Poverty Bend Vineyard has been both the heartbeat of his wines and the catalyst for a future to come. Michael’s original vision of naturally handcrafting expressive and elegant wines in the Willamette Valley has since grown into a 20+ year career.
